Drone Sky Shows were invited by Racing NSW to produce a drone light show for The Everest Turf Race 2022.

Everest’s barrier draw is the world’s richest horse race taking place at Royal Randwick. With $15 million in prize money on offer, NSW Racing’s aim was to host the largest event in their history and the drone light show formed part of creating a never seen spectacle.

OUTCOME
Five hundred drones took to the skies of Sydney to create a stunning sequence, comprised of a plethora of visually powerful images revealing the colours of the horses and barriers for The Everest.

The Everest 2022 set a new record for the largest crowd of 46,221 at Royal Randwick.

The drone show was an equally great success, quoting CEO of Racing NSW, Peter V’landys: “This drone show will go all around the world promoting Sydney.”
